DESCRIPTION:
This session is part teaching and part conversation. We'll name the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) elephant in the room, get honest about what it means to lead in the current climate, and discuss how to stay in the work without losing ourselves or our people.
We will talk through the different ways organizations are responding and how to figure out what's right for you. We'll discuss how to assess your internal readiness and risk, explore how to stay accountable and grounded so you don't spiral into urgency or burnout, and consider what principled, strategic, and relational leadership looks like in this moment.
WHO SHOULD JOIN:
This Nonprofit Cafe is for nonprofit leaders committed to advancing equity while navigating evolving conversations and perspectives in their communities.
