Our Values

One Valley Community Foundation relies on five operational values that we embrace to meet our goals and fulfill our mission. Those values are: integrity, collaboration, innovation, empowerment, and impact. Personally, our employees and representatives are expected to embrace personal values, including: abundance, joy, and hope.

Mission

We connect people who care to causes that matter to ensure that all can thrive in Gallatin County.

Vision

We envision a Gallatin County where people work alongside neighbors to invest in and build vibrant and equitable communities.

In 2002, it was renamed the Bozeman Area Community Foundation to better describe its expanding mission. Over the next several years, the foundation added staff and board members, hosted nonprofit trainings and resources, facilitated community conversations and giving circles, administered grants to local nonprofits, and managed endowment funds.

In 2020, the foundation went through a rebranding process, adopting the name One Valley Community Foundation to support its growing mission to address the unique needs of each community in the Gallatin Valley, while uniting residents together in common goals of enhancing and further improving the quality of lives here. Today, One Valley Community Foundation is proud to be the community foundation serving the Gallatin Valley.
