One Valley Community Foundation Hosts 9th Annual Give Big on May 4th and 5th
Gallatin County nonprofit registration deadline to participate is March 15th

Gallatin County, MT - Nonprofits across Gallatin County are invited to register for Give Big Gallatin Valley 2023, an annual 24-hour giving celebration that raises critical funds for nonprofits located in or serving Gallatin County.

One Valley Community Foundation’s 9th annual Give Big Gallatin Valley will take place from 6 pm on May 4th to 6 pm on May 5th at www.GiveBigGV.org. During the event, donors county-wide come together to support the causes they care about by donating to nonprofits across Gallatin County at one convenient website. Since its inception in 2015, the event has raised over $11 million for 230+ local nonprofits. In 2022 alone, 6,120 generous donors came together to raise nearly $2.9 million through 12,529 gifts during Give Big.

This annual event supports organizations, both large and small. “Give Big has positively impacted our organization, Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association (SWMMBA), and our community. Since its inception by One Valley Community Foundation, Give Big, and One Valley’s fantastic staff have fostered a community culture of generosity and philanthropy. The 24-hour event and One Valley have helped our nonprofit grow positively and spotlighted other organizations that have served as guideposts for SWMMBA. In addition, the event has created an atmosphere of cooperative fundraising amongst many of our region’s nonprofits forging many partnerships beyond Give Big,” said Mel Cronin, SWMMBA Board Member.

Nonprofits located in or serving Gallatin Valley are encouraged to register for this year’s event by visiting www.GiveBigGV.org from now until March 15th. One Valley provides various resources to help nonprofits succeed during Give Big, including a series of free educational webinars leading up to the event, social media graphics, and more. These tools are intended to support participating nonprofits by providing important resources that organizations can use beyond Give Big to support their missions.

"One Valley is thrilled to invest in our rich nonprofit sector throughout Gallatin County by hosting this year’s Give Big,” said Bridget Wilkinson, President and CEO of One Valley Community Foundation. “Give Big is a celebration of organizations that create the social fabric of our community – and truly make Gallatin County such a special place to live. We encourage all nonprofit organizations, regardless of size, throughout Gallatin County to register to participate in this year’s initiative.”

With continued growth in our community, local nonprofits are seeing a rise in demand for their services resulting in increased funding needs. One Valley Community Foundation, in partnership with Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, invites all community members from West Yellowstone to Three Forks to come together from May 4th-5th at GiveBigGV.org to support these growing needs and celebrate what makes Gallatin County unique.
